Canine Tracheostomy Manikin Training Model LFA # 2589
Often-time, in life-threatening upper airway obstruction, especially during tactical field care, performing tracheostomy is vital to the survival of K9s.
Based on the numerous requests from our military and critical care customers, Rescue Critters is pleased to introduce our Louie Tracheostomy Model. Cricothyrotomy may also be performed on the model. Incisions can be made to the skin layers, the cricothyroid membrane and between the tracheal rings.
Louie comes with three sets of replaceable tracheas and skins and one artificial lung. Incisions and sutures can be made on the skins and trachea.
Additional tracheas and skins may be purchased separately. The model does not come with artificial blood.

Suture Pad Veterinary Training Pad
Mimicking realistic flesh, Rescue Critters® created the Suture Patch for vet techs and med students to practice their suturing skills. Incisions can be made over the entire surface of the patch.
Dimensions of the patch are approximately 3”x 5”x 0.5”. Easily portable, it allows the diligent student to take practical training home.

Our PREMIUM 3-layer Suture Patch resembles the tactility of real skin and flesh. With the epidermis, dermis and subcutis layers, trainees can practice their incision and suture skills on all layers on this mighty patch.
The 3-layer Suture Patch measures approximately 6″X 6″X 0.5″. Trainees should be able to perform about 15 to 20 incisions over the entire surface of the pad, depending on the size of the incisions. An invaluable product for students to take home for practice.

Haemostasis Pad Veterinary Training LFA # 2609
Rescue Critters’® Haemostasis Pad is an advanced surgical training product. The haemostasis pad has an immensely lifelike feel to it and features the epidermis, dermis, subcutis layers and blood vessels.
Trainees can make incisions on the blood vessels and perform haemostasis, longitudinal arteriotomy, end-to-end anastomosis and ligation.
Another secondary function of the Haemostasis Pad enables trainees to also practise their suturing skills on a realistic surface.
This pad is approximately 12" X 12" X 0.5″. It has a surface area about 15 times larger than our Suture Patch. Trainees should be able to perform about 50 incisions over the entire surface of the pad, depending on the size of the incisions.
The Haemostasis Pad comes in its own specially designed box and a pack of artificial blood. The IV drip bag and stand may be purchased separately.
